Stewardship Pledge For 2025
Our gratitude for what God has already done gives us faith in what God will do in the future. We give not to make God happy or pay him back, but because we trust that God is working through our resources to share his Good News with the world.

Capital Campaign Pledge For 2024–2026
On January 7th 2024, we launched the “Our Time, Our Church” capital campaign. This is an important time for our church. It’s our hope that during this three-year campaign – a period of time that will see the 190th anniversary of Calvary and the 50th anniversary of the parish consolidation – that God will deepen our faith, grow our leadership and ministries, and help us lay a solid foundation for the long-term future of this parish.
We invite you to schedule a visit with a capital campaign member to discuss your options for contribution. We thank you for your consideration.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my stewardship pledge the same as my capital campaign pledge?
No, these are two separate pledges. Your stewardship pledge is annual, and goes to help us cover our operating costs. It pays for ministry expenses such as: salaries, Sunday School material, and the choir. This is the most important financial pledge you can make at Calvary-St. George's. Your capital pledge is an aspirational gift paid over three years, which goes to the building restoration. We would be happy to set up an appointment to discuss that gift with you.
What is a stewardship pledge?
A pledge is financial commitment to the church in the upcoming year. This helps us know what to expect in our budget and plan our ministry year.
Who should pledge?
EVERYONE!
Whether you’re new to the parish or a longtime parishioner, whether you worship online or in-person, you are called to pledge!
How much should I pledge for stewardship?
10% of your income is a common starting number, which comes from the Biblical teaching of the tithe. For many, this is a great starting point and for others this is a goal to reach.
In 2025, we are looking to increase our number of pledging units to 180. This would reflect the tremendous growth of our congregation’s community and commitment to our mission of sharing the Gospel. We invite everyone who attends Sunday service to consider becoming a pledger, especially those who are new to our parish. Any amount helps us maintain our annual cost of operations.
Where does the stewardship money go?
100% to Ministry
This includes worship and music, youth and family, education and community programs, and the clergy and staff who make it happen.
Ok, I’m in. What now?
Fill out the pledge card using this form or pick up a form at church.
How do I fulfill my stewardship pledge?
You can fulfill your pledge in 2025 by scheduling automatic payments on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly basis using Realm. You can use credit or debit card or withdraw directly from your bank account.
You can also fulfill your pledge by mailing a check, or dropping off a check or cash in the offering box on Sundays. Make sure you put it in an envelope with your name on it!
What if my financial situation changes?
Not to worry. Reach out to us and adjust your pledge accordingly. There are no penalties if you are unable to give the amount that you pledged!
