Greg Brewer has served as an Episcopal priest for over 30 years, serving parishes in Central Florida and Philadelphia.
For five years he was the associate professor of Pastoral Studies at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA. Greg taught classes in liturgy, parish leadership, the healing ministry, the spiritual life, and directed their field education program for M.Div students. Prior to coming to Calvary-St. George’s he has served as rector of the Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli, PA, a large multi-staff parish outside of Philadelphia for 12 years.
He is a native of Richmond, Virginia and is a graduate of Lynchburg College and Virginia Theological Seminary. He has also done doctoral work on leadership development at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been involved extensively in the renewal movements in the Episcopal Church as a speaker, conference leader and leader of worship. He has been active in the development of overseas Anglican partnerships connecting American Christians to the “least of these” and presently serves on the Board of the Anglican Relief and Development Fund.
Greg is married to the former Laura Lee Williams and they have five sons: Charles, James, Todd, Lee and Mark. Greg is a lover of music of all kinds. He and his wife love to cook and enjoy a ministry of hospitality.
