If you would like a prayer for yourself or a member of your family, please contact us at prayersatcalstg [dot] org.  All requests are kept in the strictest confidence and are prayed by members of the clergy or the Calvary St George’s prayer team.


Weddings and Event Space

Marriage celebrates the union of a man and a woman to become one in the eyes of the Lord.  Couples wishing to be married in either Calvary Church or St George’s Church are required to meet with a priest for pre-marital counseling, a requirement of the Episcopal Church’s canon law.

Calvary-St. George’s holds two classes – The Marriage Prep Course and The Marriage Course provide couples the opportunity to discuss topics often ignored in the rush of daily life: the art of communication, resolving conflict, and parents and in-laws.

 Baptisms

“And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water and behold the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove …” -- Matthew 3:16

God reveals Himself in the sacrament of Holy Baptism.  In the waters of baptism, our old selves die with Christ, we rise to new life in Christ; we become part of Christ’s body, the church, and receive the Holy Spirit.
